Continuing with the Headspace series, we hear more from former brain tumour patients Sarah, Jonny, Rebecca, Ashley, Curtis and Craig. Talking about the physical, emotional and learning difficulties faced post treatment, we discover each case is very different, often depending on the location of the tumour and the complications experienced. Asked about the after care process and whether regular surveillance comes as a vital reassurance or an intrusive disruption, the general consensus is that ongoing reviews of the situation are a positive process.
