Here we are introduced to Anna and Donna, who are currently both receiving treatment and take time out to share their experiences with cancer. Diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last September, Australian born Anna received four rounds of chemo before relapsing two and a half months later and is currently awaiting a bone marrow transplant. Donna, who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, received numerous sessions of chemo, resulting in her femur bone being removed and replaced with prosthesis. Talking about the facilities available on Ward 94, where they are being treated, they praise the wide range of activities and hobbies available to participate in, including a newsletter, where they are free to write whatever they like.

  • Hi Anna,
Great film, I can see why you chose to stay in England. Australia is just getting this sort of thing in one hospital in Perth. The hospital staff seem to have thought of everything. Thanks for the film it helped me understand what your mum has been telling me about the hospital.
