The London Marathon
It’s an emotional day as Sarah puts on her running shoes to run the London Marathon in the memory of her best friend Alice Bullock who sadly lost the battle to rhabdomyosarcoma back in November 2008. In true Sarah style she does the marathon with a smile on her face, every step raising valuable funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. Back at the hotel room the champers is out and the main question on Sarah’s mind is steak or burger?

A day never to be forgotten! We are so proud of Sarah who pushed herself completely out of her comfort zone and achieved the greatest challenge of her life. Sarah drew her strength and determination to get to the finishing line from Alice, who was a constant inspiration and continues to be in all our lives.

What an amazing achievement honey! You are an incredible young lady and Ali was so lucky to have had such a fantastic best friend. The marathon is on my “to do” list before I turn 40 so if you fancy doing it again, I can’t imagine a better running partner ; – )!!! Well done you – you made everyone proud XXXXX

So proud of Sarah for this amazing achievement…especially when I look back on her and Alice’s friendship and the most energetic thing they did together was open a family size bag of Doritos whilst lounging on the sofa!! Fantastic…and lots of money raised for the TCT 🙂 x
