It’s an emotional and uplifting journey of achievement as Sonia sets herself the challenge of a lifetime- climbing the Inca Trail in memory of daughter Alice, completing a dream they had always planned to do together, whilst raising an incredible £10,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust. With good friend Jo alongside her, the pair head to Peru, soaking in the wonderful views and all the amazing experiences along the way. With heights of up to 4,590 metres to contend with and altitude sickness affecting Jo, it’s no easy feat for the pair, all worth it however, when they finally reach Machu Picchu…. not before nearly getting trodden on by a herd of Llama’s though!

  • Watched this film with a tear in my eye….just amazing Sonia, sums up the whole experience so well and thought the end was such a lovely touch. Just know Ali was with you the whole way. Have to say, knew you said how cute the peruvian babies were, but did not realise just how CUTE! Now I know why you struggled not to sneak one back with you! Adorable!! Definitely made me want to see Machu Picchu and the cute babies! Lots of love xx

  • Wow Sonia! What an amazing film. I’m just drying my tears – Alice would be so proud. Lots of Love xxxx
