Time for a quick catch up with Zack who is having his left leg amputated. Zack bravely speaks of how he is prepared for the operation and how he has to be optimistic and not focus on the bad things such as having an amputated leg will give him more opportunities to do more things that he couldn’t do before.

  • You are a very very tough and kind person, and I am sure that this is the impression of whoever gets in touch with you. There are few persons under your condition that would spare their time and sthrength to encourage others to just keep on living their lives as good as they can. I really admire you!!!

  • Hi Zack, not sure if you remember me (Chloe) or my mum (Kate) but we met you on ward 10T last year (I had pancreatitis) and then on 78 in the summer. It’s really nice to see how positive you are and that you’re coping so well. We both wish you all the best luck for the future and hope everything goes fantastically for you and all your family now x

  • Zack, you’re a brilliant example of strength, humour and character. A true inspiration!

    Very best wishes
