Here we meet Sam White who is a young teenager from Newark. Sam was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour and had to spend a lot of his time in hospital due to how poorly he was. Here Sam is talking at National Union of Teachers conference to tell teachers, learning mentors & teaching assistants just how hard it was for him to return to education, the support he received and also importantly the support he didn’t receive.
