Billy was just 17 years old when he was diagnosed with a Germinoma a type of brain tumour after suffering with a limp after running and struggling to play certain songs on his guitar. After an MRI scan the diagnosis was made and Billy had to leave his job in the armed forces something of which Billy feels very sad about as he cannot return for another five years when he hopefully gets the all clear.
