Shahn was a typical normal 19 year old student who went to her GP after developing a rash, Shahn had a blood test to make sure everything was normal but the next day her GP rang to request further testing as her blood results where abnormal a few weeks later she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Shahn talks us through how she found that she had no-one to relate to whilst been treated on a Haematology ward and how some people don’t like to talk about cancer but she wanted to as it made her feel better.
