Personalised Medicine In Oncology – Key Steps for Patient Access
In November 2011, the European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC) and the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) joined forces to hold a workshop in the European Parliament, with the kind support of MEPs Nessa Childers and Petru Luhan. Bringing together patient advocates, researchers, politicians, healthcare professionals, and representatives of industry and of the European Commission, the event focused on what personalised medicine can offer to cancer patients, and on integrating personalised medicine into healthcare on a European level.
