We hear about three major body image issues during this film. Rhiannon talks about how she loved her long hair before treatment and how she shaved it off to prevent it from falling out in clumps. Rhiannon also talks about how she’s struggled with people starting at her as she’s very anxious about the way she looks. Peter talks about weight gain from his steroid treatment, including gaining 10 kg in 2 weeks but he felt happy that none of his friends and family weren’t around to see the change in his appearance and finally Abigail talks scars and how proud she is of her scar or as Abigail likes to see it as her “battle scar”.
