Dan talks about how on one Christmas morning he suffered a seizure and ended up in hospital, later to be told he had a brain tumour which he needed to have an awake craniotomy (brain surgery). Dan explains how his cancer became so aggressive and doctors told him of a minimal chance of survival however Dan opted for further surgery which he later contracted an infection that doctors are now lead to believe destroyed his aggressive tumour. Dan is now over four years cancer free and talks about how he’s been using his love of fitness to get him back on the road to recovery including setting up his own personal training business.
