In David’s second film, he looks at the part his faith and his friends played in his cancer treatment, and how both gave him strength to fight on.

  • Dear David

My name is also David and i found this website after I read an artical on the BBC wesite in which you are mentioned.I did a google search for your name as I wanted to find out more about you and how you were.
Your films are very honest and very moving. You seem to take all that has been thrown at you in your sride and even after just fifteen minutes of footage your bravery and wisdom beyond your years shines through.
I am sat here on my computer in Wellington New Zealand writing this message to you. Although i should be working(i work at a company called Weta Digital who did all the special effects on Lord Of the Rings) i felt it necessary to take time out to show you my support.
I hope you are feeling ok and still have your faith and yor family around you to keep you positive. I wish you all the best and hope that your days are happy and free from pain.
I dont know you and you dont know me but your story has touched my heart and i pray for you.
    take care
    david

  • Dear David,

I too have just read about your fight with cancer on the BBC and wish to send you my warmest wishes and prayers and what must be a very challenging time. Your courage, your faith and your honesty are a true inspiration.

May you have the strength to continue your battle and we shall pray not only for your healing, but that your story can touch the lives of many suffering alone and in silence.
