Here we are introduced to Louise Delvin from Belfast, who was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma whilst studying at University. With her first indication something might be wrong coming from an ongoing pain and swelling in her shoulder, Louise visited her GP, where she was sent for various tests to determine the underlying cause of the problem. With the true cause taking time to be diagnosed, Louise explains how worried she was, going on to explain how nothing prepared her for the shock of discovering she had cancer.
