When Matt was 20 years old his life was all about university, booze and football not thinking about the possibility of getting cancer but it was after Matt hurt his ankle during a football match that a scan and a biopsy later confirmed that Matt had Ewings Sarcoma. Intensive chemotherapy followed and the decision was made to have his leg amputated. Matt tells the story of how he turned bone cancer into playing sledge hockey for his country.
