Christopher’s Day
Back in 2009 Christopher had to go to Birmingham to have his right arm and shoulder amputated. Christopher talks us through how he felt when he woke from surgery, knowing he had lost his arm and shoulder. Christopher goes on to explain that he still doesn’t like people seeing his amputation scars as he worries people would feel uncomfortable around them. Originally right-handed Christopher has had to learn how to regain confidence and relearn things with his left side including getting behind the wheel again which has given Christopher so much more independence.
