Paralympic swimmer Giles Long MBE had dreams of competing at the Olympic Games as a child but after a diagnosis of Osteosarcoma a type of Bone Cancer and having to have a metal prothesis in his arm put an end to his Olympic dreams but Giles had a new goal – The Paralympic Games. Giles tells us his Paralympic journey including winning gold in Sydney and how meeting the Queen at Buckingham Palace didn’t exactly go to plan!
