My Cancer Blog – Part One
Footage taken from this years One Week In Cancer filming project where we asked young people with cancer to film their week. Here is 15 year old Lily who is currently receiving treatment at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. Lily talks about how she was diagnosed in October 2011 and received treatment but after a few all clear scans Lily unfortunately relapsed. Lily is now awaiting high dose chemotherapy and due to Lily’s 16th birthday just around the corner the talk of moving to Adult Oncology is being discussed. Lily tells us all about how chemotherapy affects her life and how it’s hard trying to find the right balance when it comes to doing activities and her tiredness.
